ABOUT OZZYAWESOME

Who am I?

Born in Toronto Canada from immigrant parents, I grew up in a small suburb called North York.
As a child I was very shy and sheltered. I came home right after school, didn't have any friends and spent most of my days watching TV or playing alone in my room.
I would often create forts or spaceships out of pillows and blankets and pretend I was exploring the world unknown to me.
Growing up and entering the workforce I realized I didn't feel like I belonged in any job or company I worked for. Although I got a degree in Communications and Public Relations and was working at a big television station in Toronto, I didn't feel I fit in or had anything special to offer.
I realized that I needed to get away from all the people, the places and things known to me and immerse myself in another world. Much like my childhood I decided to travel thousands of miles to a place completely unknown to me; Japan.
A new country, new language, new food and new culture, everything was nothing like I knew before.
I am currently still living this adventure and learning something new every day. 
Hopefully you can join me in my adventure and we can learn from each other about new and amazing things. 
Or I guess I should say Awesome things. 
The world is awesome and my life is awesome. Therefore I am Ozzy Awesome.
